How to order school uniform
Pupils are expected to adhere to the school uniform policy. A copy of the policy is on our school website. On the days the children have P.E. lessons they will be permitted to wear their P.E kits for the whole school day to avoid changing. You will be informed by the class teacher which days these are at the beginning of the school day.
As mentioned in previous communications, parents/carers will be able to order school uniform online. This can be done by accessing the White Hall Academy web shop through our suppliers Anglian Sports at: yourschoolwear.co.uk. Anglian Sports are currently in the process of setting this service up and they anticipate that it will be available at the end of the month.
A free ‘click and collect’ service will be provided for your orders in Clacton-on-Sea, but if you prefer delivery they can provide a selection of delivery services. If ordering for more than one child, particularly one at a secondary school, your order value may well exceed the free delivery threshold when selecting second-class post.
If opting to collect your order from Anglian Sports, please be aware that face coverings will be mandatory, and you will be expected to follow any instructions provided by staff concerning social-distancing or hand hygiene. These rules are a temporary measure during the pandemic and follow Government advice, so we thank you in advance for your understanding.
Anglian Sports website is configured to display properly on desktop computers, phones and tablets but please make sure your browser enables cookies, first and third-party, and URL redirection. This is particularly important if using Apple’s Safari browser as third-party cookies and URL redirection are disabled by default.
Please order well in advance of the start of term if possible, in case you need to return items and reorder. They plan to hold sufficient stock with our initial stockholding and will monitor stock levels during the holiday period too, but please be aware it is still possible we might need to replenish stocks of some sizes over the Back-to-School period.
You will be able to purchase White Hall Academy book bags dirctly from the school.
Jojo Siwa hairbands/bows
We have noticed that a small number of girls are wearing Jojo Siwa style hairbands/bows to school. These hairbands are not in accordance with our uniform policy as they are an assortment of different colours. They are also very large and can block the view of other pupils in the classroom or in assemblies. Therefore, please do not allow your daughter to wear them in school. If they do wear them to school they may be asked to remove them.
Wet weather
Once the weather turns wetter and colder the children are allowed to wear boots on their journey to and from school and when they are outside at lunchtimes/playtimes, but they must have a pair of school shoes/black trainers to change into for when they are indoors
