Is your child showing an interest in writing their name? Are you keen to help them at home?
Please help your child to form their letters correctly from the start by following our online guide - the picture/letters will help. Each letter has a 'patter' that you will need to say every time your child writes the letter. Children should learn the first letter in capital form. Careful guidance early on will help develop positive writing habits leading to a fluent style later on. Please come in and ask nursery staff if you want more help or advice.
