Children return to school on Tuesday 2nd January 2018

Do you have a child who is due to start school in September 2018?

From Monday 13th November applications can be made on-line, via the Essex County Council website, for Reception places for September 2018. Or, you can obtain a paper copy from the school office if you prefer.

To apply online via the ECC website please click here

Please note the Closing Date for applications is Monday 15th January 2018

We strongly advise that you make your application as soon as possible, so as not to miss the cut- off date. Several parents were disappointed last year as they did not receive a place at White Hall Academy because their application arrived after the closing date.

Changes to morning registration

In order to improve our procedures in the morning, I would like to inform parents that the entrances to the classrooms will be closed at 8.50 am. If you arrive after the doors have been shut, please make your way to the main office where the children will be recorded as late, and allowed to enter the school.

Uniform Policy

We have now uploaded our Uniform Policy onto the school website. Please go to the Our Academy header then select Our Policies from the drop down box.

Key points to note are that Children are not permitted to wear earrings for PE. They have to be removed by the child. Only one pair of gold/silver studs or small sleepers may be worn.

Hair: Extreme hairstyles (such as shaved shapes/patterns or colours other than natural hair colours are not permitted. Hair longer than shoulder length should be tied back.
